Clean Energy is Mean Energy

Writer's picture: ERGERG

Last week the MI House of Representatives passed House Bills 5120-5123. The radical legislation, according to MI Capitol Confidential, will "strip local communities of the power to accept or deny large-scale wind and solar projects" and give the last word to the Michigan Public Service Commission. The MPSC is a 3-member group of busybodies that are appointed by the Governor.

This utopian carbon emissions scheme is yet another draconian step towards implementing Gretchen Whitmer's MI Healthy Climate Plan. Can you imagine forcing unwelcome wind and solar farms on rural locales like the First District? Goodbye, Home Rule! Relying on an unreliable energy infrastructure will also mean that blackouts and brownouts will not only become routine, energy bill costs will skyrocket.

The elitists that craft this junk legislation are, obviously, anti-poor people and those on a fixed income. But it will also be a blow to the already struggling middle class. ERG can only hope that cooler heads will prevail in the MI Senate, and push back against the Climate Change Cult.

Your (manufactured grievance) whining is duly noted. Know-nothing Conservatives are only all about “local control” when it serves their anti-government/anti-progress goals!

Apparently Lynn Hyatt Brown has never seen rows and rows of wind turbines despoiling rural Michigan landscapes, and killing birds indiscriminately. He/she then jumps to the conclusion that a photo showing wind turbines is "a FAKE photo." Brilliant political rhetoric.

LOL Lou! Evidently, you’ve been spending way-y-y too much time listening to the mad utterances of DJT!

How is a FAKE photo helpful? I was interested in your views, but it's just a big lie. Cripe.
